On Friday, October 17, just hours after New York
Yankees third baseman Aaron Boone hit a game-winning, series-ending
home run in the bottom of the 10th inning in Game 7 of the ALCS,
Yankees Manager and Lifetime Member of the ASA Joe Torre spoke
at a rally held in City Hall Park in New York to wish the Bomber
good luck in the World Series.
Those in attendance included New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg,
Yankees radio announcer John Sterling, Yankees GM Brian Cashman,
