Jack Buck

Voice of the St.
Louis Cardinals and Sports Director of KMOX Radio in St.
Louis for 45 years, Jack Buck has established himself today
as one of the most respected sports broadcasters in the
industry.
In addition to
his broadcast duties with KMOX and the Cardinals, Buck has
served as play-by-play announcer for CBS Radio Network's
broadcasts of the World Series since 1983, covered the 1965
and 1976 All-Star Games and broadcast National Little League
Championship Series games from 1979 through 1982. Earlier
this year, Buck joined CBS Sports as a play-by-play
announcer for the network's Major League Baseball
broadcasts.
Buck's
broadcasting career has not been limited to baseball; he has
covered professional football for all three television
networks and has served as play-by-play announcer for the
CBS Radio Network's NFL broadcasts since
1978.
In a long and
distinguished career behind the microphone, Buck has
demonstrated a standard of broadcast excellence and
professionalism that have been matched by few
broadcasters.
